Review and approve your tailored CV
The Review & refine screen shows every change with its grade and its evidence — you stay in control of each bullet, and your score reflects it.
From a completed tailoring session, open Review & refine. The left side shows your tailored CV as a document with the changed text highlighted; the right panel steps through one change at a time with its before/after diff, the reason for the change, and the evidence behind it.
How bullets are graded
- Grounded — directly supported by your CV. Counts fully (weight 1.00) toward your score. No action needed.
- Reframed — same fact, new emphasis. Defensible; counts 0.85.
- Needs review — the grader found no support in your original CV (internally the grade is "unsupported"). Counts 0.00 until you deal with it — confirm it, edit it, or revert it.
Changes the grader hasn't processed yet show as pending and are excluded from the score entirely — an ungraded session reads "Not yet graded", never 0/100.
Working through the changes
Use the All changes / To review filters to jump straight to the flagged rows. Each change also carries a magnitude tag — Minor edit or Substantial rewrite — and a word-level diff so a one-word swap doesn't read like a full rewrite. Per change you can:
- Confirm — I can defend this — your attestation, offered on Needs-review rows only. The row turns amber with a Confirmed by you badge.
- Edit — rewrite the bullet in your own words.
- Revert — discard the rewrite and restore your original wording.
How confirming lifts your score
The authenticity score is deterministic: Grounded bullets count 1.00, Reframed 0.85, bullets you confirmed count 0.60, and unconfirmed Needs-review bullets count 0 — averaged over all graded bullets and scaled to 100. So confirming a flagged bullet genuinely lifts the score. The underlying grade is never rewritten, though: recruiters who see your shared prep see confirmed bullets as candidate-confirmed, not as verified.
The score maps to three bands: 70+ Interview-defensible, 40–69 Borderline, below 40 Needs work.
The export gate
While any Needs-review bullet is unconfirmed, the status pill reads Export is blocked with the count left to confirm. Deal with the last one and it flips to Export ready — no page reload. When you want to polish wording beyond per-bullet edits, use Make final edits to save the tailored CV into My CVs and finish in the editor.
